About

WriteBuy was formed by Neil Donnellan, a bus driver working at First Group PLC (Leeds, Hunslet). It took Neil over four years to learn and build the website from scratch programming in his every spare time.

In 2008 the website was up and running ready for use, but Neil was not too happy with the design he did so after a long break early in 2009 he set about redesigning the website to it's formal look we now see today.

Neil has experience in Visual Communications (Graphic Design, gained a BTEC) as well as Lens Based Media (Filming & Photography, gained an HND). With over five years in the I.T. Industry combined with his other knowledge Neil was able to design and build WriteBuy from scratch.

December 2008 Neil was diagnosed with have post traumatic disorder causing him to have anxiety. This has not stopped him from building WriteBuy and driving a bus.

WriteBuy is a b2b global classified ad's website helping businesses to sell any item quickly and affordable.

Logo

The logo is made up of a large tick and two words 'Write' & 'Buy'. The word 'Write' was used to represent the business terminology 'write off'. The word 'Buy' tells visitors that they can buy from the website, similar to 'bay'.

The large tick is to represent both words combined and the website is the number one place to buy from.
